Indian banker in Dubai wins Dh1 million in Big Ticket draw

Abu Dhabi: A 46-year-old Indian banker in Dubai has won Dh1 million in a Big Ticket draw, which is based in Abu Dhabi.

Georgina George, from India’s Kerala state, was the final winner of the Millionaire e-Draw series in December 2024.

Born and raised in the UAE, she now resides in Dubai with her husband and children. Her journey with Big Ticket began five years ago, purchasing tickets almost monthly with her colleagues. However, the ticket that won was a spontaneous purchase made alongside her husband.

Georgina said: “Like many winners, my initial reaction was pure disbelief. To be honest, I wasn’t entirely familiar with Richard’s voice, so my first thought was that it might be a scam. But as reality sank in, the overwhelming joy and excitement took over. I plan to reinvest the winnings and put them toward my kids’ higher education.”

Dh25 million grand prize

Big Ticket is ringing in 2025 with its January promotion, offering a “guaranteed” Dh25 million grand prize and much more. Every week in January, one ticket holder will walk away with Dh1 million in the weekly e-draws.

January also brings back The Big Win Contest. Purchase at least two Big Tickets in a single transaction between January 1-26, and participants be entered for a chance to join the grand finale live draw on February 3. Four participants will take part in the Big Win Contest to win guaranteed cash prizes ranging from Dh20,000 to Dh150,000.
