Dubai: An Asian pedestrian was killed at 7pm on Friday, when he crossed Al Safa Road, traffic official said.

A speeding Emirati motorist hit the man, who crossed from an undesignated area for pedestrians, the official added.

The traffic jam was still going on at the time of this report, with police patrols working to control the jam.
