Noted diplomat and author dies

Dubai: Mariam Behnam, noted author, diplomatic pioneer and UAE national, has died at the age of 93.

Born in Iran, Mariam was a mother of two and a well-respected pillar of Dubai after a long association with the emirate.

Condolences are being received between December 5-7 for both men and women (separate entrances) and on December 7, from 7-9pm, there will be a mixed gathering at Villa 22, Al Dustoor Street, Jumeirah 3, at the Pakravan/Abdulrazak residence.
