New batch graduate from Emirates Centre

The third batch of students from the Scientific Research Diploma graduated yesterday at the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR).

The third batch of students from the Scientific Research Diploma graduated yesterday at the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR).

Speaking on behalf of the graduates, Mohammed Saleh Almejaini said: "The implementation of modern scientific training concepts and the use of advanced teaching methods have played a big role in the development of our individual skills in all the subjects we studied."

The 2001/2002 class included 11 students from the Armed Forces General Command, Ministry of Interior Affairs, Emirates Media Corporation and ECSSR. The ceremony was attended by Jamal Al Suweidi, the ECSSR Director.

The Training Section of ECSSR is responsible for organising training courses. These courses can develop the scientific capabilities of national researchers and employees as well as qualify and train them to conduct and manage their tasks effectively, such as Specialised Training Courses, aimed at addressing the training requirements of national technicians and administrative employees.

Such courses include Arabic for Administrative Purposes, Specialised English Language, Word-Processing, Statistics Software (SPSS), Information Security, Personnel Management, Communication Skills, Report Writing, etc. The schedule of each course is three months.

The ECSSR is an independent research institution concerned with the scientific investigation of political, economic and social issues.
