Musical tribute to UAE founder proves a hit

Beirut: The curtains have risen on the musical extravaganza ‘Zayed and the Dream' at the Forum de Beyrouth in the Lebanese capital.

A large audience turned out to watch the premiere of the tribute to the founder of the UAE, Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Among them were Mona Afish, Minister of State and the representative of the Lebanese President, Mohammad Khalaf Al Mazroui, chief of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, Rahmah Al Za'abi, UAE ambassador in Beirut, a number of Lebanese ministers and former Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora.
