Multi-specialty hospital coming up in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: Mubadala Healthcare has joined hands with Cleveland Clinic to build their first hospital in Al Sawa Island by 2011.

The official ground-breaking ceremony of the 360-bed multi-specialty facility was held on Sunday.

The ceremony was attended by Dr Ahmad Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD); Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, CEO and Managing Director of Mubadala; Dr Toby Cosgrove, President and CEO of Cleveland Clinic; and Ahmad Ali Al Sayegh, Chairman of ALDAR Properties.
