Braille version of UAE laws to help those who are visually impaired in having a good understanding of the legal system
Sharjah: In the first move of its kind in the UAE, the Jurist Association will publish the country’s laws in Braille script.
This will help those who are visually impaired in having a good understanding of the legal system in the UAE.
The decision to bring out the laws of UAE using Braille script was taken by the Jurist association at the meeting chaired by Solicitor Zayed Saeed Al Shamsi.
The Board of Directors of the Association reiterated in its second ordinary meeting its keenness to develop the standard of services to benefit all, including people with special needs.
The meeting also decided to assign Solicitor Khalifa Yousuf Bin Omeir to open a branch of the Jurist Association in Abu Dhabi.
