Jumeirah Giant Charity Cake Sale at Mercato

Dubai: Mercato, a member of Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG), will host a four-hour cake festival through the Jumeirah Giant Charity Cake Sale on Friday, July 11.

Organised as part of activities during DSS 2008, more than 60 executive pastry chefs from Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts will prepare an exquisite display of 3,065 delicious cakes.

This number represents the total number of rooms provided by Jumeirah Group's Dubai Hotels & Resorts.

The cakes will be on sale with a fixed price of just AED 30 and the proceeds will be donated to the Dubai Autism Centre.
