Indian expat in Abu Dhabi wins Dh25 million in Big Ticket draw

Abu Dhabi: An Indian expat in Abu Dhabi has won Big Ticket’s mega Dh25 million jackpot on Monday night. This is the first time Big Ticket has given away such a large prize money.

Haridasan Moothattil Vasunni bought his winning ticket 232976 for Dh500 on December 30. When Big Ticket host Richard called Vasunni he was left speechless. “I am shocked and it is unbelievable,” he said.

Vasunni hails from the Indian state of Kerala.

Other winners

The second prize money went to another Indian expat who took home Dh2 million. Aswin Aravindhakshan's winning ticket number 390843 was picked on Monday.

In December 2021, Big Ticket gave away Dh1 million each week. All four winners hail from India. The winners were Veqar Jafri, Bijesh Bose, Rafeek Mohammed Ahammed, Harun Sheikh.
