Dubai: Medical Services Corps (MSC) of the UAE Armed Forces and Philadelphia International Medicine (PIM) have signed an agreement to establish a special relationship combining clinical education, training for auxiliary staff, consulting services and a visiting physician programme integrated with a patient referral programme.
Under the agreement, hospitals that are part of PIM can expect to see an increase in the referral of specialty cases from UAE military hospitals.
Those hospitals send more than 2,000 patients for advanced care around the world. In exchange, PIM will assist MSC in improving the clinical communication between treating physicians abroad and referring doctors at home.
