Dubai: Doctors who wish to obtain a Membership of the Royal College of Physicians will be able to attend a preparatory course in the country before sitting the final exam in the United Kingdom.
Doctors wishing to obtain the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), a professional qualification in the United Kingdom, can now attend a mock exam course.
"We can ensure quality [of the course]," said Dr Abdullah Gaffar Al Hawi, Assistant Under-Secretary of Ministry of Health. Qualification is obtained in three stages, which are divided into two theoretical and one clinical test.
Candidates did not have the option to attend revision courses for the clinical exams.
Participants would have 12 credit hours approved by the Ministry of Health on the successful completion of the course.
IBC Medical Service Group, a Dubai-based company, would launch a two-day MRCP clinical course under the patronage of the Ministry of Health to be conducted in Kuwait Hospital in Sharjah.
