New programme at SEHA to mentor Emiratis

Selected personnel to be trained to assume high-level positions

Abu Dhabi:A new programme to boost Emiratisation within the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) will mentor 25 Emirati senior managers to assume high-level positions within the organisation, SEHA announced in a statementyesterrday.

The selected managers are currently employed within SEHA across a variety of fields, including nursing, human resources and engineering. The new initiative will seek to enhance their professional and personal skills.

As part of its 2010-2015 plan, SEHA wants to increase the proportion of Emirati employees in administrative positions to 50 per cent of all job positions. It also aims to hire Emiratis for 12 per cent of local field jobs in medicine.
