Abu Dhabi: A passenger arriving from Canada was suspected by health authorities of showing H1N1 flu symptoms, the Ministry of Health announced.

The passenger was put in quarantine and precautionary medical measures were taken to examine him and diagnose his disease.

The ministry said the procedures approved by the Supervisory Committee on Combating H1N1 are going according to plan with the cooperation of all concerned bodies.

I think, health authorities should also check the flight details the doctor had taken coming from Canada so as to check the health status of those passengers who arrived with him.

FACT: Other people who have traveled with him in the same flight, especially the persons who were sitting beside this person are inside the country. What if anyone of them got the virus from this person?

Countries issuing entry permit should get a clarified medical examined certificate from the visitor before entering the country. I hope mankind can find a vaccine/medicine for this disease.
