Dubai: The Dubai Municipality has honoured 28 companies that demonstrated support and commitment to public health and safety standards.
The companies were awarded with certificates either for their safe products or for maintaining safe environment for their customers, employees, labourers and the general public.
Among the organisations that have been honoured are Arabtech constructions, Emirates Roads Contracting Company , J W Mariott, Rydges Plaza, Wool Worth, Unilever Arabia and The Nail Spa.
"Creating an excellent and safe city is not an easy task. It requires the support of everyone especially the private sector," said Redha Salman, Director of Public Health and Safety Department.
"We are very proud of these companies and we hope that through this honouring , we can spread the message that safety is everyone's responsibility. We acknowledge the efforts of the private sector and its compliance with safety standards," added Salman.
