Zakat Fund donated Dh9.48m for the elderly

Abu Dhabi: The Zakat Fund donated approximately Dh9.48 million from the beginning of 2016 to date, to help about 520 cases involving the elderly. The donations are a part of the fund’s charity project to help the poor and the needy, who are eligible beneficiaries.

Mohammad Al Beloushi, the Fund’s department manager, said that the project aims to provide financial aid to elderly people to ease the difficult circumstances they have experienced and to ensure a decent life for them. Al Beloushi urged beneficiaries to submit their applications via the official website of the Fund.
