UAE condemns killing of Governor of Aden

Abu Dhabi: Dr Anwar Bin Mohammad Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, has condemned the assassination of the Governor of Aden, Jaafar Mohammad Saad, saying he was targeted 'by the hands of treacherous terrorists'.

Dr Gargash said: "These crimes will not discourage our common resolve to restore security and stability throughout the brotherly nation of Yemen."

He said the UAE and Saudi-led Arab coalition would spare no effort in its quest to achieve these goals, stressing that terrorist crimes that seek to undermine them will not deter the solid and common objectives of the honourable Yemeni people and countries of the Arab coalition.

Gargash offered his deep condolences to the Yemeni President, the Yemeni Government and the families of the deceased.
