Dubai: Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced holidays for private sector employees in the UAE, for Eid Al Fitr 2025. 

According to an announcement from the ministry, Sunday 30 March to Tuesday 1 April, will be a paid holiday for all private sector employees across the country on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

If the month of Ramadan concludes on the 30th day, the holiday will be extended to Wednesday, 2 April 2025, the ministry anounced through its official X handle. 

Earlier UAE had declared holidays for public sector employees for Eid Al Fitr 2025. 

According to the circular from the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), holidsys for the federal government employees will be from 1st to 3rd Shawwal 1446 AH, with official work resuming on 4th Shawwal.

In the event that the Holy Month of Ramadan concludes with 30 days, the 30th of Ramadan shall be observed as an additional public holiday, thereby extending the Eid Al-Fitr break.
