Sharjah approves settlement of 111 loans

Sharjah: Sharjah’s committee tasked with settling the debts of Emiratis approved Dh60.1 million for settling the debts of 111 cases.

The move is in line with the directives of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Rashid Ahmad Bin Al Shaikh, Chief of the Emiri Court and head of the committee, said that the money will be used to settle debts of Emiratis from Sharjah who have been convicted or have cases open in courts, and also other defaulters. The committee has so far approved Dh185.8 million for settlement of loans for 492 cases.
