Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has bestowed the Order of Independence (First Class) on Yoshihiko Kamo, Japan’s Ambassador to the UAE.

The honour comes in recognition of the efforts Kamo exerted during his tenure, which contributed to enhancing relations and cooperation between the UAE and Japan in all fields.

The Order was presented by Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, when he received Kamo at his office in the ministry on Wednesday.

Shaikh Abdullah congratulated Kamo, and wished him success in all future endeavours. The ambassador expressed his thanks to all officials in the UAE in general, and officials in the ministry in particular, pointing out that their cooperation contributed to the success of his duties.
