Tunis: The Khalifa Bin Zayed Foundation has donated 12 ambulances to Tunisia’s Ministry of Health at a ceremony held in Tunisia.

The ceremony was attended by the Tunisian Health Minister Dr Abdul Latif Al Makki and staff of the UAE Embassy.

The Foundation said the state-of-the-art ambulances will support health services provided to mothers and children. Additional medical equipment will be sent later.

Al Makki said the ambulances formed the first consignment of a package of health assistance the Foundation has promised to deliver to Tunisia.
