Fatima: Saeed’s death saddened every Emirati

Delegation from Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood offers condolences to Saeed’s family

Al Ain: The story of the Emirati child, Saeed, who fell to his death in Al Ain while trying to raise the UAE flag is one that saddened every single Emirati, said Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairperson of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation and Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood (SCMC).

Shaikha Fatima said that every Emirati is sad over the death of Saeed, but their hearts are also filled with pride for the love he held for the UAE.

Shaikha Fatima issued the statement after a delegation from SCMC visited Saeed’s family to offer their condolences. The visit was carried out upon directives from Shaikha Fatima.

Reem Al Falasi, secretary-general of SCMC, said that the visit reflects the attention given by Shaikha Fatima to children, and the great importance placed by the wise UAE leadership on issues related to protecting children and providing them with all forms of support to ensure that they are brought up well.
