Dubai Police rolls out smart community engagement platform

Dubai Police has introduced “Your Neighbourhood Police,” a smart platform aimed at enhancing community engagement and strengthening public safety across the emirate.

The initiative reflects the force’s focus on shared security, giving every resident the opportunity to play an active role in keeping their neighbourhoods safe. Through the platform, residents can learn about common security mistakes, report negative behaviours, and work with police to find practical solutions that support social harmony.

Beyond reporting, the platform encourages residents to take part in Dubai Police programmes and community events. Officers will also organise visits and social interactions, helping to build trust and closer ties between police and the public.

To further motivate participation, a recognition system has been introduced to honour the most active contributors. In addition, volunteers will be offered training workshops to help them maximise the benefits of the platform.

Officials said the initiative highlights Dubai Police’s commitment to creating safer, more connected communities by promoting collaboration and ensuring residents feel directly involved in safeguarding their surroundings.
