Dubai: Dubai Police has unveiled the latest addition to its world-famous fleet of luxury patrol cars — the high-performance Audi RS7 Performance.
The move underscores the force’s ongoing commitment to enhancing safety, embracing advanced technologies, and upgrading its tourist patrol fleet in partnership with leading automotive brands.
The unveiling ceremony was held at the Museum of the Future and led by Major General Eid Muhammad Thani, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, alongside Major General Rashid Al Falasi, Director of the General Department of Transport and Rescue. Senior representatives from Al Nabooda Automobiles, including Jan Scheidgen, General Manager of Audi – Al Nabooda Automobiles, were also in attendance.
Attendees were given a detailed presentation on the RS7’s capabilities. Delivering an impressive 630 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. Combining cutting-edge technology with striking design, the RS7 not only enhances operational performance but also boosts the city’s global image as a hub of innovation and luxury.
Major General Thani praised the long-standing collaboration with Al Nabooda Automobiles, highlighting that incorporating high-performance sports cars into the fleet strengthens Dubai Police’s presence in popular tourist areas while ensuring vehicles remain at the forefront of technology.
K. Rajaram, CEO of Al Nabooda Automobiles, expressed pride in the partnership: “Our collaboration with Dubai Police, particularly the Tourism Police Department, is built on ambition and mutual trust.
