Dubai municipality centre project approved by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid

Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Finance Minister, and Chairman of Dubai Municipality, has approved the construction of a new civic body centre in Al Kifaf area, near Al Karama.

Eng Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director-General of Dubai Municipality, said the project will be completed at a total cost of Dh24 million and construction is expected to start in May.

The project is a two-storey building that includes service counters and offices built in an area of 60,000 square metres.

Two lifts and escalators will be provided in the building in addition to a waiting area and a multi-purpose hall.
