Sharjah Ruler issues Emiri Decree exempting award from all local government taxes and fees
SHARJAH: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued Emiri Decree No. 60 of 2017 to amend Emiri Decree No. 2 of 2001, on the establishment of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work.
The Emiri Decree stipulates that an article in Emiri Decree No. 2 of 2001 shall be updated regarding the award, detailing the exclusion of consumer fees, and that the award shall be exempted from all local government taxes and fees in the Emirate.
The decree shall be effective from the date of issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette. It shall be circulated to all authorities concerned for implementation.
