Body of Emirati martyr arrives in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: The body of Emirati martyr Abdullah Juma Hassan Al Shamsi arrived on board a military plane of the UAE Armed Forces at the Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi, where a special military ceremony was held to mark the return of the martyr's body.

A number of senior Armed Forces officers and non-commissioned officers took part in the service.

The UAE Armed Forces have earlier mourned Al Shamis who was martyred while performing his national duty as part of the Armed Forces' involvement in Operation Restoring Hope carried out by the Saudi-led Arab coalition.
