Exposed wires in Sharjah could be fatal

In Sharjah's King Faisal Street, a street light's electric cables have been left exposed.

Gulf News reader Gopa Kumar said this was hazardous to children.

He said: “A curious child could easily poke and prod the wires. It is extremely dangerous.”

The community reporter said a recent road accident caused the street light’s flap to come off. It has not been repaired since. The reader is a consultant based in Sharjah.
