Labour: 73 firms violate midday break rule

 Dubai: A total of 73 firms were found violating the midday break, a senior ministry of interior official said.

Major General Mohammad Al Merri, Director General of Dubai Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department, said the Permanent Committee for Labour Affairs has notified the labour ministry of the violations to enable the ministry to take the necessary legal procedures against erring companies.
