Foggy days

Thick fog blanketed Abu Dhabi for the second consecutive day, disrupting flights and road traffic.

At least ten flights had to be diverted yesterday as bad weather conditions prevented them from landing at Abu Dhabi Airport.

Five minor accidents were also reported over the last two days.

The fog affected many areas, including northern emirates in the morning, as visibility was about 100 metres in most of the areas except Fujairah, Meteorological Department told Gulf News.
