Fake news: No earthquake in Dubai

Dubai: Widespread reports of an earthquake being felt by residents of Dubai a short while ago today have turned out to be fake news.

While a section of the media quoted residents in high rises in certain areas saying they felt strong tremors in their in buildings, the National Centre of Meterology told Gulf News there has been no earthquake in the UAE so far today.
