Dubai: Dubai Civil Defence teams quickly responded to a yacht fire at Dubai Harbour on Sunday morning. The emergency call was received at 8:24 am, prompting an immediate response from units at the Marine Fire and Rescue Station and Al Marsa Fire Station.

First responders reached the scene just four minutes later, at 8:28 am, to find the yacht completely engulfed in flames. The incident was classified as medium-scale due to the total destruction of the vessel.

By 10:13 am, the field commander confirmed that the fire had been brought under control, and cooling operations were in progress. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Authorities stated that the site will be handed over to the relevant parties once cooling operations are completed, in line with standard procedures.
