Civil Defence teams quickly contain blaze and prevent spread to nearby buildings

Ajman: Civil Defence teams in Ajman swiftly contained a minor fire that broke out in a residential tower on the Corniche, with no injuries or casualties reported, authorities said.
The General Directorate of Civil Defence in Ajman responded immediately after receiving reports of the incident. As a precautionary measure, residents of the tower were evacuated to ensure their safety while firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control.

Authorities said civil defence crews successfully contained the fire and prevented it from spreading to neighbouring residential units.
Following the operation, cooling procedures were carried out and the site was thoroughly inspected to ensure it was safe in line with established safety protocols.
Officials credited the rapid response of civil defence teams and the effective coordination among relevant authorities for the swift handling of the incident and the safety of residents. They also noted that the building’s fire suppression systems functioned efficiently, helping firefighters extinguish the blaze quickly and limit its spread.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause and circumstances of the fire.
