Fire breaks out at waste collection site in Abu Dhabi’s Al Wathba

Dubai: Emergency teams were responding to a fire that broke out at a waste collection site in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi, on Wednesday, authorities said.

Abu Dhabi Police said its teams and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority were dealing with the blaze, which broke out on September 30.

Authorities did not immediately provide details on the extent of the fire or say whether there were any casualties.
