UAE cabinet adopts school calendar for three years

Dubai: The UAE cabinet has adopted the school calendar for the next three years for all school year groups across the country. The total number of school days is set at 175 per year, keeping into consideration the days needed for exam periods that would not affect the school calendar.

The 2015-2016 school year is expected to start on August 30, 2015. Winter break will last for three weeks, and the Spring break will be two-weeks-long. The school year will end on June 23, 2016.
