Nahyan signs agreement with British Council

Abu Dhabi: The British Council has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT).

It will lead to the two organisations working closely on the development of best practice in English language teaching and assessment, leadership development for Emiratis, the facilitation of joint research projects and the nurturing of educational and cultural links between the two countries.

The agreement was signed during a meeting in Abu Dhabi between Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Chief Executive of the British Council, Martin Davidson

Davidson said: "The British Council is delighted to be working alongside the HCT in areas of strong mutual interest."
