Ministry of Education accepts 140 educators for leadership programme

Dubai: The Ministry of Education accepted 140 educators who applied to join the ‘Developing school leadership’ programme for the 2014-2015 academic year.

The programme, which is implemented in partnership with Pearson Education, aims to develop the quality of school leadership across the country.

The programme will allow participants to complete three master’s degree requirements in school leadership programmes in universities in the UK. The ministry is currently studying the prospects of partnering with two local universities, who will agree to accept the training hours of the programme as part of their master’s degree programme in school leadership.
