Dubai tourist camp shut, fined Dh50,000 for COVID-19 safety violations

Dubai: A tourist camp in Dubai has been shut for organising a gathering that flouted COVID-19 precautionary measures.

According to Dubai Media Office, Dubai Police in cooperation with Dubai Tourism, closed the camp for one month and fined the gathering’s organiser a sum of Dh50,000 for not complying with precautionary measures like wearing masks and adhering to social distancing.
