Tower’s Owners Association contacts insurance company to complete procedures
Dubai: Alternative accommodation is being arranged for residents affected by the high-rise fire in Dubai Marina.
On Friday night, a fire reportedly broke out on the upper floors of Marina Pinnacle Tower. Dubai Civil Defence, police, and ambulance services rushed to the scene, and by 11:40 am on Saturday, authorities confirmed that the fire had been fully contained. Officials noted that more than 3,800 residents were successfully evacuated.
Expressing “deep sorrow” over the incident, the Owners Association managing the Marina Pinnacle Tower announced that temporary housing would be provided for affected residents.
In an official statement, the association said it is complying with directives from the concerned authorities to “provide temporary housing for the affected residents.”
The association also confirmed that it has initiated contact with the insurance company to “complete the necessary procedures in such cases.”

The Owners Association has confirmed that several affected residents have already been relocated to a hotel while the situation is being resolved. Those seeking temporary accommodation are advised to proceed to Samaya Hotel Deira and contact the customer service department.
To be eligible, residents must present:
A title deed, if they are property owners
A tenancy contract, if they are tenants
Additionally, the Owners Association extended its sincere gratitude to the Dubai Civil Defence teams for their “tremendous efforts” in controlling the fire, carrying out cooling operations, and ensuring the safety of all residents.
No casualties were reported so far, thanks to the swift and coordinated emergency response.
