The Allan de Mieulle-trained Dahess, ridden by David Bouland, earned another big victory for its Qatari connections while the race for jockey's championship entered a hot phase with Richard Mullen registering a double triumph to share the top spot with Ted Durcan yesterday.

Dahess rewrote the record books with a new timing for the Liwa Oasis Group One race, yesterday's feature event that had drawn some classy runners.
