Teen hangs himself after relatives refuse to buy him a car in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah: An 18-year-old Emirati youth allegedly hanged himself in his house on Saturday morning in the Al Golan area of Ras Al Khaimah.

Sources close to the teenager told Gulf News on Saturday that the Emirati youth, identified as M.Y.A.S., hanged himself after he had asked relatives to buy a car but they refused.

Sources said the victim had been released from jail in recent days on narcotics charges and his body was buried on Saturday after Duhr prayer in Ras Al Khaimah cemetery.

Ras Al Khaimah police did not confirm the incident.
