British man gets 15 years for Kerry Winter murder

Dubai: The Dubai Court of First Instance has sentenced British suspect M.A. to 15 years in prison after Presiding Judge Hamad Abdul Latif Abdul Jawad found him guilty of murdering his ex-girlfriend 36-year-old South African Kerry Winter.

Judge Abdul Jawad said the accused will be deported after serving his punishment.

The court also referred a civil lawsuit lodged by Kerry's brother to the Dubai civil court.
