Asian worker commits suicide in Al Ghusais

Dubai: A body of an Asian worker was found hanging from the ceiling in a deserted building in Al Ghusias Sunday.

Forensics have confirmed that the body of the Indian man, believed to be in his mid or late twenties, is a case of suicide ruling out any criminal intent, said Brigadier Khalil Ebrahim Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department for Criminal Investigations at Dubai Police.

“We are still investigating the motive behind him committing suicide. The identity of the man was identified but we are still gathering more information about him,” he told Gulf News.

The man was wearing a red shirt and jeans and hung himself using a rope, said Brigadier Al Mansouri.

The case is still under investigation.
