Baz Luhrmann, Joss Stone, Erykah Badu, King Sunny Ade and many more performers will all be playing Montreal’s famous Jazz Festival. The event runs June 26-July 5, http://www.montrealjazzfest.com

But there’s plenty more to do in Montreal this summer.

Mural, which is the Canadian city’s public art festival, runs June 4-14, with artists adding designs to streets and public spaces in live art installation projects. And Canada’s newly opened, first urban zipline circuit will take you flying over Bonsecours Island in Old Port. There are also fireworks scheduled for July 1, 4, 11, 15, 18, 25 and 29, and August 1, at 10pm, with best viewing from the grandstands at La Ronde.
