Dubai: Abu Dhabi is now home to a touch of Hogwarts magic with the opening of Harry Potter: The Exhibition at Manarat Al Saadiyat on Saadiyat Island. The timing of the exhibition's debut is fittingly magical, as it launched on July 31, Harry Potter's birthday. This immersive experience offers more than just a collection of props, inviting visitors of all ages to step directly into the Wizarding World.

What to expect

The exhibition transforms passive viewing into an interactive adventure. Upon arrival, you'll receive a personalized wizarding profile and an interactive wristband, which customizes your journey through the experience. You can cast spells, brew potions, and even test your Quidditch skills. You'll also explore detailed film set recreations, including the Great Hall, Hagrid’s Hut, and the Herbology Greenhouse, and get up close with authentic costumes. The exhibition features a few surprises as well, with dragons, Boggarts, and Golden Snitches making appearances. For film buffs, there’s an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the filmmaking process, with audio commentary on everything from creature effects to costume design.

The experience is designed to last between 60 to 90 minutes and offers many photo opportunities throughout. An exclusive merchandise shop is available at the end for those who wish to purchase souvenirs.
