Touchmate TV Pro is the gadget of the day

Dubai: Why spend thousands of dirhams on a new TV when you can convert your old LED or LCD TV into a full high-definition smart internet TV by just spending Dh399.

Touchmate’s TV-Pro is an USB dongle that you can insert into a HDMI port and watch Youtube, surf the internet, send messages on Facebook or Twitter and play games as you would on an internet TV.

It is powered by 1Ghz Cortex A5 processor and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It also has an in-built 4GB memory and 512MB DDR3 RAM.

TV-Pro is a WiFi device and can be controlled by a wired or wireless mouse or keyboard.

Users can also download content from Android marketplace and store on a microSD card capable of supporting up to 32GB.
