Federal authority also launches smartphone app allowing customers to get data relating to non-oil foreign trade
Abu Dhabi: The Federal Customs Authority on Monday launched a customs statistics service on its website and a smartphone application to respond to customers’ enquiries on statistics pertaining to non-oil foreign trade between the UAE, other countries, and the free zone trade in the UAE.
Khalid Ali Al Bustani, FCA Acting director-general, said that the new service aims to support the knowledge economy, build a competitive economy and fulfil the UAE’s obligations by disclosing the statistics of non-oil foreign trade with international organisations.
The new service is available on the authority’s website and on smartphones through the UAE-FCA application available on Android, iOS and Blackberry stores.
