Dubai: The third day’s play in the UAE-Scotland ICC Intercontinental four-day match at Ayr in Scotland was abandoned due to rain.

UAE were in a commendable 212 for 5 on the second day in which only seven overs of play was possible.

The organisers had planned an early start from 10.30am Thursday (third day) to make up for the lost hours of play due to rain, but not a single ball could be bowled. Rameez Shehzad is unbeaten on 74 off 140 balls.
