Wollongong to meet BITS in table tennis title-clash

Dubai: The Skyline Inter-University Table Tennis Tournament has come to its final stage and Wollongong University and BITS entered the final in the boys' team championship. In the girls' team championship Wollongong and Mahe-Manipal reached the finals.

The second day of the tournament saw a spectacular show by BITS and the Mahe girls' teams. In the boys' semifinal Wollongong beat Skyline University with a set score of 3-1. BITS posted a comfortable victory over Gulf Medical University by 3-0.

In the girl's semifinal Wollongong won by 3-2. In the boys' individual championship Swaraj of BITS won against Mohammad of Wollongong in a closely contested match. In the semifinals BITS beat Skyline while Mahe beat Wollongong.
