Al Hassani and Muller qualify to main draw

UAE national team junior Khalid Al Hassani and Stefan Muller qualified in contrasting ways to the main draw of the Al Wasl Men's Open.

Al Hassani defeated Iranian Arash Talibi in straight sets 6-3, 6-2, while Muller had to fight over three sets before winning 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 to enter the main draw.

Joining Al Hassani and Muller were Michael Maksoudian and UAE junior team member Faisal Bastaki.

Maksoudian beat promising youngster Aleksa Ilic 6-3, 1-6, 6-3, while Bastaki was at his very best winning 6-2, 6-1 against Hassan Sharif.
