Abu Dhabi Gentlemen, start your engines. Not since the highly successful Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which took place from October 30 to November 1, has the sound of squealing tyres been heard on the Yas Marina Circuit. Until now.

The GP2 Asia series will not only give people something unique to do over the weekend, but will also give them a chance to get up close and personal with drivers and their teams.

Open paddock

"Any ticketholder can access the behind the scenes part of the pit area, watch the teams work on the cars and even interact with the drivers. So in essence the circuit will operate as an ‘Open-Paddock' and is open for all," Paul Quinn, International Media Manager, Yas Marina Circuit, said.

"They can then recapture the excitement of the F1 by watching drivers battle it out on the circuit," he added.

So if you missed the chance to watch the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on the Yas Circuit itself, now is the perfect opportunity to get a taste of the action.
